Well done, Sheila! I am in a very similar position: my book (a memoir of my childhood) will be published next month! Will send you a private message on FB…and will read your stories…
Susanna
Sheila, You’re such a wonderful, funny, writer. I love the authenticity in your storytelling —just like listening to you tell them in person! I look forward to reading your newsletter and, someday soon, your wonderful book. Xxoo
Carissima! Congratulazioni!! I'm so happy to have crossed paths with you and your family during your sojourn in San Francisco, though it was bound to happen somewhere in the world given the many points of connection we have! I will continue to connect with you virtually through this newsletter and IRL around the world! A presto!!
Dearest Shelia, This is wonderful. I am thrilled I will get these in a newsletter. Your keen observations and thoughtful, humorous and deep reflections on the everyday bring life to life for me and so many of your readers!! Keep that pen in your purse and keep writing for us, your adoring audience! XXOO
First of all, I truly enjoy reading your work. I appreciate the honesty as well as the clear talent sharing your life. I will always marvel that one day while sitting with a dog in that French cafe in Carmel by the Sea after just having moved here I met you and your husband. Shame we never met again as I really wanted to meet that dog of yours. Dog hair aside, there is absolutely nothing more joyful and grounding and eternally loving as a dog. I shall subscribe happily and share! Oh! and by the way, when we met I was 58. I just turned 68. Trust me…all the things we worry about fly in and out. Relish it all….it just keeps getting better! ❤️
Federica
I love you, Sheila! I’m thrilled that you are doing this. I support you 100% I’m so happy. You are an amazing writer. This is your own special thing. I know that your writing will touch many people, maybe make them feel like they are not alone, entertain them, and very likely teach them. I’ve always admired your kindness and grace. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Give Zaby and the kids hugs for me.
