I've just finished breakfast, but I'm still drooling while reading this (and looking at the pics). I say the hell with pumpkin spice anything, and even the hell with pumpkin pie. Our family has always been sure that we Jews don't like pumpkin pie.

Oh my, Sheila! Can "Il Cigno" overnight a few to me so I can escape the pumpkin pie mania? The Monte Bianco (which I have skied down from the French alps to the Aosta Valley once) is a reason to visit Roma during the winter months for sure. Anything chestnut is a favorite of mine. Thank you for awakening some great memories!!!!

I love thinking of you skiing down the Monte Bianco, how cool is that?! I think Il Cigno could really boost their business if they could overnight their masterpiece to faraway places. Until then, you’ll just have to come to Rome!
