Dear Caryl, thank you for your kind words about this piece. I'm glad it resonated with you! I promise you that I'll be writing more about my two separate selves....stay tuned and keep reading!
Dear Linda, I'm sorry to hear that surgery is keeping you away from Italy but I hope you'll be able to return for a visit soon. Until then, I'll continue to try to write pieces that will make you feel as if you are here!
Dear Christina, thank you for your very kind words. I'm so glad the piece spoke to you. It was fun to live, and even more fun to write. I had to write it down so I wouldn't forget it! Thanks so much for reading my work. xx Sheila
Grazie tante, Donata. It was worth every anxiety we had! Ma che peccato che non potevamo neanche vedervi in quel period...meno male che la vita e' finalmente un po' diversa! Grazie sempre di aver letto il mio pezzo!
Sheila … I am in love with this piece you just wrote. I felt taken away to a wonderful place in time, as if I were in your shoes. Absolutely love this missive!! Brava, Sheila!!!!
What an amazing experience. I felt the same awe while driving down US 101 as a single lonely little car. In the past, it was a feet to get to SF without getting crushed by a semi. Well done, Sheila.
What struck me was the concept of your just discovering and accepting that you had two quite separate selves. I want to hear more about that. I bet there have been some quick changes that could be quite hilarious. Caryl
